Can I upload an external map into BotBrain?

Why importing external maps isn’t supported (RTAB-Map DB tied to sensors/extrinsics).

Not currently.

BotBrain maps are not simple image files — they’re RTAB-Map databases that include visual features, point clouds, and odometry data tied to the robot’s specific sensor configuration/extrinsics. Importing a map generated by different hardware typically breaks localization.
