Hardware requirements for BotBrain (open source)

Minimum hardware needed (Orin Nano + RealSense) and notes on Wi‑Fi/docking station.

To run the open-source version of BotBrain effectively, you need an NVIDIA Jetson Orin Nano compute module. During normal operation, BotBrain utilizes approximately 80% of the Orin Nano's system resources. In addition to the compute module, you will need at least one Intel RealSense depth camera (D435i) for vision and mapping, and a Wi-Fi dongle if you are using the built-in Jetson Nano docking station that comes with the Go2 EDU, as the docking station does not include a built-in Wi-Fi card. For more advanced use cases, the upcoming BotBrain Pro version will support the more powerful Jetson AGX Orin and Thor platforms.
